Opportunities for Public Feedback
The PA Department of State has informed Pennsylvania’s counties to have voter-verifiable paper record voting systems selected no later than December 31, 2019, and preferably in place by the November 2019 general election. The Commonwealth will receive nearly $14 million in federal funding to assist counties with replacement.
Westmoreland County Election Bureau is hosting a series of four demo sessions for the public to view and evaluate potential new voting equipment.
All demonstrations will be held from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Commissioners public meeting rooms.
Election Systems and Software will present on June 20th.
Dominion Voting Systems will present on June 28th.
Unisyn Voting Solutions will present on July 9th.
Hart InterCivic will present on July 23rd.
Take advantage of this time to have your voice heard during this process. You are welcome to attend one or all of the demonstrations and complete a survey after attending the event to provide feedback.
