Pa. victims’ needs assessment survey now underway
The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) has announced the release of two statewide, online surveys to assist PCCD in assessing victim service needs throughout the Commonwealth.
Launched this week, the online questionnaires can be found at www.pacrimevictims.com and will be open through Feb. 28.
One survey is designed for victims of crime and members of their immediate household who have been directly impacted by crime, and the other survey is for community stakeholders, victim service providers, related criminal justice practitioners and other community members to provide input on how to improve and enhance the delivery of services to victims of crime, with a focus on unmet needs and gaps in services.
Both surveys were developed by PCCD’s Office of Victims’ Services and researchers from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). The aggregate results of the surveys will be available in March; a report will be posted on the Pa Crime Victims website.
For any questions regarding the needs assessment or for assistance in taking the survey, contact PCCD at 717-787- 2040.
