The Westmoreland County VOAD is the local chapter of the Pennsylvania Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD). Our VOAD consists of organizations active in disaster responding throughout Westmoreland County.

National VOAD is the forum where organizations share knowledge and resources throughout the disaster cycle—preparation, response and recovery—to help disaster survivors and their communities.

The purpose of the corporation shall be to foster more effective service to people affected by disaster through communication, coordination, cooperation, collaboration, convening mechanisms and outreach.” –
